When Shaun and I were pregnant with Christian we were on top of things...nursery, registering, painting, hospital bags, etc. With this little one, we are not on top of ANYTHING. We talk about doing things for Bryson but we never accomplish them. Bryson is going to come into this world with an unfinished room and nothing but "hand me downs".
Christian has done a little something to help decorate his little brother's room. When we were deciding what we wanted to do with Bryson's room, we knew that we were going to use the same comforter set but we didn't want the two rooms to be the same. SOOOOOOOO, I was looking at the comforter and noticed that it is reversible. One side is zoo animals and the other side is solid brown with hunter green and gold circles. We decided to use this side and take a whole different approach.
I thought about some things that I could hang on Bryson's wall (bible verse, pictures, shelf with animals, etc.). One thing that we hung up were some finger paintings that Christian did. I got the idea from a friend who blogged about her daughter finger painting and then hanging them in her room (thanks Heather). It turned out great and he had a great time doing it.
When the finished project(s) are completed I will share the whole nursery. Thanks Christian for helping mommy and daddy decorate your little brother's room. He will love them.
