Very First Cold...

So, Christian has his very first cold. For about the last three days, Shaun and I have heard Christian snort snot (yes, that is what I just said...ha...very lady-like, huh) through his nose. It is not a pleasant sound. It is actually kind of sad, especially when there is nothing that you can do about it...the suction bulb will not even give him any relief. So, Shaun and I took him to see Dr. G yesterday (yes, again...you know they don't come with instruction manuals). He has a little temperature of 99.8 and is very congested in his nose. It is not in his lungs yet (which is a good thing) so no problems there. Lets hope it stays out of his lungs. He just has that awful viral infection that we all hate to get. So, as you can see we are not sleeping very well at night or eating very well. It is hard to eat and sleep when you can not breath. Doctors orders are to give two saline drops and then 2drops of a children's Afrin in each nostril. So far so good...

Here are his new stats...

Weight: 12.5 lbs (now) 6.10 lbs (born)
Height: 23 inches (now) 19.4 inches (born)

Can you believe how big my little boy is getting?

Hope he gets better over the weekend because we have our first birthday party to go to. Mrs. Starnes's (his nanny) son is turning one. We also have our 2 month wellness visit on Monday...that is right, it is shot time. Pray for us...ha.
