I love this quote by Mary Pickford. I have made many mistakes in my life that have certainly lead me to the person that I am today. Mistakes that I am not proud of, mistakes that I wish I could do over, mistakes that I hope and pray that God has forgive me for. Of course, as I look back on those mistakes they were merely an attention seeker and popularity thriller. "What is popular is not always right, what is right is not always popular." Gosh, if I would have know that back then and known that it was so true.

I want to make sure that as Christian grows up he is not only making those mistakes that are going to lead him into the man that he will become but that he is also learning from them. I want to make sure that Christian knows that what is popular is not always right and what is right is not was popular. I want to make sure that Christian knows he is not a failure. I want to make sure that I teach him that if he does fail he must get back up and start anew...take a new step...take a fresh look...take a fresh start.

I want Christian to know..."Throw back the shoulders, let the heart sing, let the eyes flash, let the mind be lifted up, look upward and say to yourself... Nothing is impossible!"
