The BEST!

When I sit back and think about Father's Day, I think of it in a totally different way. I used to think I needed to get Shaun the best present ever to show him how much Christian and I love him. However, now I know that all I need to give him and show him is LOVE from the both of us, TIME from the both of us, and some APPRECIATION from the both of us.

Our love is so real that it is a day to day, down to Earth, what-really-matters, kind of love. I feel so incredibly lucky that my partner in life is you, Shaun. I know that Christian is so very blessed and appreciative to have the best father.
One that helps him when he is sick.
One that helps him when he is sad.
One that plays with him when he needs a chasing partner.
One that makes him laugh when he tickles him.
One that cuddles with him at all times.
One that is loving and kind.
One that is always proud of your triumphs.
One that is patient, helpful and strong.
One that teaches me all the things I need in order to succeed in life (right now)!

The memories that you make with each other are priceless. Wherever life may lead us, I can't wait to share more of these memories with you and Christian. I know that he looks up to you as a hero. Thanks for being the BEST dad that one could ever ask for. God has certainly given us a special gift.
