AAGGHHHHH Allergies!

I just can't believe it. It has been weeks since our visit to the allergist and I have not posted about Christian's results. Oh, this summer has not been a blog summer...to much play, staying cool, getting Bryson's room ready, and just loving on my little monkey man.

Let's just start off by saying that this doctor's visit was not a fun one. They did a prick test on his back in four different spots. The percutaneous test consisted of 25 pricks that were covered in different allergies such as pollens, inhalants, grasses, peanuts, etc. He did not like it when they stuck him. He screamed and cried and said that it itched. The only thing that Shaun and I could do was blow on it because we could not rub it. It was torture for Christian, Shaun, and me.

When the results came back it stated that he has a significant reactivity to tree pollen, grass pollen, weed pollen, and cats. He is also significantly sensitive to peanuts. So basically he is still allergic to nuts (however we are to go and get another blood sample to figure out which nuts exactly), grass (however he is playing in it all the time...guess we should put sand in our yard instead. Ha), tree pollen, and weeds. Check out the picture of his back and his swollen areas. The swollen areas are all the things that he is allergic to when they pricked him. Poor thing.
