Fun, Fun, Fun!

I just LOVE summertime. I love being at home with my little man, having no schedule, and playing all day long. I also enjoy my alone time when he takes a nap for me to just relax, get things done, or nap too. This summer has been nothing less of enjoyment while we prepare for a new addition.

We have been doing many things this summer from lounging...

to swimming.

We have also created some fun times with some of my Pinterest pins that I found for Christian.

Project 1:  We made paint for the bathtub.  The ingredients are below and it was super easy to make and super fun to play with.  Came right up for the bathtub as well.   



Project 2:  We made paint for the sidewalk.  The ingredients are below as well.  It was fun but a lot more fun when we put the paint in balloons, threw them in the air and watched them splatter on the road.   



Project 3:  We made stencils for the sidewalk to use while we are playing with chalk.  I cut apart a piece of poster board into eight pieces.  I then found images on the Internet, traced them on the poster board and then cut out the center.  Fun stencils for the sidewalk. 

Project 4:  We made our own decorative plates.  I got some plain white plates from Walmart (I think they were like $2) and some Sharpies.  Christian decorated the plates how he wanted to.  I then put them in the oven on 300 for 30 minutes.  Sharpies set in and now he has his own plates that he designed. 

There are many more Pinterest projects that we have in store for the summer time.  Got to love Pinterest, summer time, and free time with the children...I know I do.
