16 Weeks... 24 To Go.

How far along: 16 weeks along.

Total weight gain/loss: 10 lbs

Maternity clothes? Totally! All maternity clothes now. There is no hiding this bump.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleeping is normal, just still really tired when night rolls around.

Best moment this week: Felt a little fluter last week from Little Bit. Have not felt another one but it was two little flutters, like he/she was saying hey.

Movement: A little flutter last week.

Cravings: Taco Bell nachos. Don't know why because I don't ever really eat there. However, the thought of them makes my mouth water and my mind go crazy.

Gender: Don't know.

Labor Signs: None yet. However, today I started feeling really sharp cramps under my belly. Called doctor and they said to rest, limit activity, take two Tylenol, and drink lots of water. So, I left work early to come home and lay down...pretty nervous but taking the doctors orders to heart.

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: Being able to drink coffee. I am a coffee drinker in the morning. It helps me get going and to wake up. I have not been drinking it (maybe once in a blue moon and only if it is decaff).

What I am looking forward to: My doctor's appointment on Tuesday the 20th. We get to hear the heartbeat again and to make sure everything is going well.

Weekly wisdom from friends/family: To take every moment for what it is worth. Just like Christian, it will fly by. Also, to rest and watch everything that I am doing.

Milestones: Right now, Little Bit is about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. Little Bit's legs are much more developed, the head is more erect than it has been. The eyes have moved closer to the front of the head. Little Bit's ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his/her scalp has begun, though his/her locks aren't recognizable yet. Little Bit's even started growing toenails. His/Her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as Little Bit continues to develop.
