Build A Bear

When my sister was pregnant with my niece, I went to Build A Bear and got her a recorder so that she could record Carmen's heartbeat. I could not wait until I got the chance to record my babies heartbeats.

When Shaun and I found out that we were pregnant with Christian, I ran right out to Build A Bear and got a recorder. We took the recorder to our doctor's appointment, recorded his heartbeat, and then stuffed it inside an elephant. Christian loves his elephant and will push the button just to hear his heartbeat. He knows that it is his while he was in my belly...this is the most special thing.

Well, I could not wait to do the same for Little Bit. At our last doctor's appointment we got to record the heartbeat. This past Monday, Christian, my mom, and I went to stuff Little Bit's heartbeat inside a sweet, precious bear. I just can't wait for him/her to interact with his/her bear and understand its meaning.
