How far along: 20 weeks along.
Total weight gain/loss: 17 lbs...OMG!
Maternity clothes? All the way. Think I will be in these unti Little Bit comes.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping just fine but sleeping with a pillow under my belly.
Best moment this week: Feeling Little Bit kick and move around. Tomorrow is the big day to see if Little Bit is a boy or a girl.
Movement: fluttering around. I can feel Little Bit move but no one else can yet.
Cravings: Donunts and anything chocolate. I can tell by the weight that I have gained.
Gender: Don't know.
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: Being able to fit inside my normal, everyday clothes.
What I am looking forward to: My doctor's appointment tomorrow. Ultrasound and gender ID.
Weekly wisdom from friends/family: Nothing really. However, today my class voted to see what they thought I was having. All the girls thought it was going to be a girl and all the boys voted boy. One little girl looked at me and said "Mrs. Spivey, you don't look big like you are having a baby." Bless you child.
Milestones: Right now, Little Bit weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He/She is around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. Little Bit is swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his/her digestive system. He/She is also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in Little Bit's bowels, and I or Shaun will see it in his/her first soiled diaper (although some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).
