Kids (Christian) Say The Darnest Things

Conversations with Christian are priceless. I am never quite sure what he is going to say or do. I think this has got to be my favorite stage yet. I am sure there will be many more stages that I think are the best but right now...this is it.

Tonight Christian and I were getting ready for bath time. While I was getting him undressed, he turned and looked at me and asked the darnest question.

C: Mom when the baby comes will you jump on the trampoline with me? When the baby is out of your butt.

M: (laughing) Christian the baby is not in my butt. Where is the baby?

C: Right there (pointing to my belly).

M: Yeah, the baby is in my belly. Christian do you know how the baby gets out of mommy's belly?

C: Yeah, out your mouth.

M: (just laughs). Christian who gave us this baby?

C: God gave us this baby.

I just love those conversation with Christian. They melt my heart and just make me laugh.
