Beach Vacation 2012

We always head down to the beach for vacation on Memorial Day weekend with Shaun's family. This year was no different, except for the fact that Christian had a WHOLE new outlook for the beach. Over the last few years Christian has not enjoyed the beach. Nothing about it attracted him...sand, water, pier, etc. This year was a whole new adventure. He loved our walks on the beach in the morning, building sandcastles as a family, playing in the water with daddy, going to the arcade to win tickets, sliding down the slides at the water park, etc. The only thing that did not catch his attention was the pier walk...they were shooting firecrackers and he HATES firecrackers. What a start to our summer vacation. Hopefully next stop will be Tweetsie Railroad.
