Dropping, Not Rising

Today (Nov. 3rd) was my doctor's appointment for our ultrasound. Once again Christian was not very cooperative. He likes to hide his face with his hands, not breathe when it is time to do his breathing test, and stay still when he should be moving around. However the buzzer gets him going…he hates the buzzer. I think he is hard headed just like his daddy...ha. Actually, I think others would disagree and say he is stubborn like his mommy. He did pass all his test (movement, breathing, and tone) even though it took awhile. However, we did not pass the amniotic fluid test. It went down to 8 cm. This has been very nerve racking and scary for me since the doctor said that if it gets to 5 cm or below they would deliver him early. Hopefully by next Tuesday the amniotic fluid will go back up. Please continue to pray. My mom is crocheting a blanket for Christian and she said that she needed to get on top of it just incase we have a Thanksgiving baby. We are still hoping and praying for a Christmas baby.
However, on a good note, we did get to cut in line in order to vote because of being on bed rest. The doctor gave me a note to give to the poll volunteers stating that I was on bed rest. When we got to the polls, Shaun went in and talked to them. They brought out a machine for Shaun and I to vote with in the car. I did not even have to move. It was wonderful. It took about 15 minutes for both of us to vote. Looking at the line that was going around the building, I was grateful.
Thank you for all the wonderful thoughts, prayers and phone calls. They have really been a blessing and a life saver. We want to thank everyone for their concern. We have the best family and friends ever. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as the weeks go by until Christian’s arrival.

Hey Donna,
Mom has been keeping me posted with your progress and I have been so proud of you and thinking of you and Shaun both. I know the news about the aminotic news was distressing but I know in my heart that everything will be fine and Christian will be a healthy baby. We are keeping you in our prays and just know you have a lot of support around you both.
We love you and will pray for you daily.
Aunt Martha and Uncle Jim.
