Hey, Hey, Hey, Goodbye!

Goodbye 20's. Hello 30's!

Yesterday was a big day for me. I said goodbye to my 20's and hello to my 30's. What a wonderful last year of my 20's God has blessed me with...a beautiful son that I would not trade anything in the world for. I am not sure what life was really like without him.

Throughout my years, I remember I could not wait for those different milestone...

I could not wait to turn 13 and hit my teen years.

I could not wait to turn 15 and get my driver's permit.

I could not wait to turn 18 and be an "adult."

I could not wait to turn 21 (of course you know why :) )

30 was not one of those milestones that I wanted to hit and looked forward to.

However, it was a GREAT day! It really did not affect me the way that I thought it was going to. I guess because I don't feel like I am 30...ha. God has granted me a wonderful life with many beautiful memories that I will take with me forever. I will certainly share and pass them on to Christian as he gets older. I am sure that he will get a kick out of some of my stories growing up.

Christian gave me the best present that I have ever recieved yesterday for my birthday. It was a flower made out of his hand prints. When I went and picked him up from Mrs. Kim, he came out of the house carrying the flower with a big smile of his face. I got all teary eyed and choked up. It was beautiful. Here is the hand flower...

We also blow out candles and ate cake yesterday for my birthday. Let me just say that Monkey LOVED IT! I don't think we are going to have any trounle with him and his birthday cake come November 24th. Here is a slide show to prove it...
