What Goes Up Must Come Down

Well, today’s appointment was not as exciting as Tuesday’s appointment. However, it was not as stressful as last Friday’s either. Today while I was getting my blood pressure checked, the nurse told me that they were a little concerned about my blood pressure on Tuesday. She said that it was probably related to stress… “You think?! I have been a little stressed lately!” She was a new nurse that I had not seen so she did not know the concerns with the pregnancy. It is so amazing how well you get to know all the doctors, ultrasound techs, and nurses, especially when you go two times a week…ha.
Today my fluid dropped back down. On Tuesday it was at 10.94 cm and today it was at 8.76 cm. The good news is that it was not as low as it was…the bad news is that it still went down. The doctor (she) also checked me today to see if I was dilated. I was only 1 cm. It was nothing much to get excited over, we still a long way to go. She did say that she could feel his head and that he was really low. Who knows we could have a Thanksgiving baby…what a wonderful thing to be thankful for…a healthy baby boy! My next appointment is on Monday (they changed it from Tuesday’s to Monday’s now) so we will see where we are at that point. It is a day by day journey that we are on.

Hey girlie! Keep hanging in there! It sounds like you are doing exactly what needs to be done. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Where will you deliver? Any chance it might be Baptist? Hee hee....
Love ya!
