All I Am

My students are writing their first writing piece. We are standing on the shoulders of Eileen Roe using the book All I Am. This is a story about a little boy who recounts some of what he is--a child, a friend, a helper, etc. As my students become authors, I model to them how our writing piece should look. So, I started writing my story entitled All I Am.

As I was writing, I was thinking about how I could write a story for Christian. I am always thinking about him and, of course, using him in my writings that I model for my students. He is a great "subject." Here is Christian's All I Am story...

All I Am

I am an only child.
I am a 9 month old.
I am an explorer.
I am a talker.
I am a camera lover.
I am a sleeper in the car.
I am a tall boy.
I am a momma and daddy's boy.
I am a son of God.
I am Christian Bailey Spivey.
